Owen Jackson (OJ)

Local South Canterbury radio personality, OJ, has spent 15 years in radio. He has been doing the breakfast show at Port FM, Timaru for the past 6 years, broadcasting around the central South Island to a local listening audience of 40,000. He is an experienced musician with his own live band, BIG PICNIC .He also performs his show “Swing Time” as Tony Sinatra.

KIRSTY MIDDLETON

Kirsty's no stranger to the lime light working as a co-host newsreader on a local radio station.  Kirsty has lent her voice to numerous jingles but her background is in country music and local operatic shows.  Kirsty has been a backing vocalist for several North Island "Spectacular" shows and been a part of different duos and bands, she is also a self acclaimed "Queen of Kareoke".  Kirsty's desire to have fun and her love of music is what drives her performances both on and off the stage.

REBECCA JACKSON

Rebecca has been performing with Big Picnic since it's inception although has more recently had to take time out due to family comitments.  She is an excellent harmony singer and has a rich and varied background in musical theatre in Christchurch, Queenstown and Timaru including performances with legendary music icon, Ray Woolf and as the lead role of Nancy in the ever popular "Oliver" stage show.

Equipment

We use db technology active speakers (15s and 12s), and a Mackie 15” sub which is enough sound for upto medium scale events and gigs. We can sub hire further equipment as required for larger events.

We also offer wireless and head microphone options for conferences and expos.

We provide Geni branded stage lights, preferring the Wildblaze and Spyro globes which convert sound to light. We also have a smoke machine for added effect.
