1957: Falco was born in Austria. He had a hit in 1986 with "Rock me Amadeus". Killed in a car accident 6th February 1998.
1960: Holly Johnson was born in London. He formed Frankie Goes to Hollywood in 1980 and his biggest success was “Relax"
1963: Singer "Seal" (real name is Sealhenry Samue). He was born in Khartouom, Sudan and raised in Liverpool, England.
1974: Sonny Bono filed for legal separation from Cher.
1977: Manfred Mann score their biggest hit with a cover of Bruce Springsteens “Blinded by the Light” as it reaches number 1 in the US.
1980: AC/DC singer Bon Scott died of alcohol poisoning aged 33.
1981: George Harrison was ordered to pay $587,000 for 'subconscious plagerism'. His song "My sweet lord" sounded too close to the Chiffons hit "He's so fine".

1994: Mariah Carey had her 1st UK No.1 with her version of the Peter Ham and Tom Evans song “Without You”. Nilsson also took the song to No.1 in 1972. Both Ham and Evans committed suicide after an ongoing battle to receive royalties from the song.
