THE BIG PICNIC PARTY BAND

The Big Picnic Party Band features well know South Canterbury breakfast radio host “OJ" (vocals/guitar), Kirsty Burnett (vocals)  Judy Berry (vocals) and "Baz" Newman (percussion). For us it's about putting on a top class show and having fun doing it”, says OJ, “we’ve been entertaining people in different capacities for many years and it gives us a real buzz to see people having a great time to our music”. Big Picnic offers complete sound and lighting designed to entertain up to 250 guests and plays a proven party music set list guaranteed to get your guests burning up the dance floor.“We run non-stop music from the moment we arrive until we leave, so when we take a breather the party favourites keep coming including everything from the Time Warp, The Grease & Boney M Megamix, Jive Talkin, Wake Me Up Before You GoGo and many more suprises”, say’s OJ. Professionally produced backing tracks compliment “live” guitar and percussion OJ & Judy (or Kirsty) both sing.OJ says he is driven to make Big Picnic the best it can be.“We’ve come a long way over the years…….we have a huge responsibility to make sure that our client’s special event is successful so although we take it very seriously we do like to have a few laughs along the way.”Big Picnic specialise in weddings but are also available for all corporate or private functions and can incorporate “Tony Sinatra Swing Time” into the show as required.Here’s a sample of their set list;
